John Gary Evans, age 73 passed away Monday, January 31, 2022, at his home. He was born on March 1, 1948, to the late John and Verline Leidle Engle. Besides his biological parents he is preceded in death by his adopted parents Dr. Lee and Mary Helen Evans; two brothers, Gene Kelly Evans and James Dale Evans.
He is survived by his two daughters, Melinda Sue Fogle, Donia (Anthony) Lynn Dotson; two sisters, Janie Schulz, Janice Ann Roebuck; grandchildren, Devon Rayne Dickey, Richelle Nicole Dickey, Krista Lynn Moore, Brion James Moore, Alisha Dawn Rueger; great grandchildren, Ian Rayne Dickey, Kaley Renee Dickey, Katlynn Beth Rueger, Laikynn Rueger, Emma Grace Ensey, Dayvion Moore, Easton Moore, Raelynn Moore, Dawson Moore; nieces and nephews, Paul Schneider, Paula (Kelly) Cape, Leasa (Carl) Kulm, Caden Kulm, Brielle Kulm, Brian Sippert Dawn Shortman, Tristan Sippert, Taylee Sippert.
