Joseph William Hedges, age 84, Cynthiana, died Monday, August 1, 2022 at Bluegrass Hospice Care Center at St. Joseph Hospital in Lexington. He was born in Bourbon County, March 9, 1938 to the late Ora Cecil and Elsie Ellen Ransdell Hedges. Joseph was a Navy machinist mate. Besides his parents, he was preceded in death by a brother, Charles Hedges and two sisters, Sue Hedges and Rebecca Hedges Gaunce.
He is survived by five sons, Joe Hedges, Jr., Donald Hedges, David Hedges, Johnny Hedges and Patrick Hedges; a sister, Jean Center; twenty grandchildren and four great grandchildren.
