Obituary for Josephine Leslie Page

Josephine Leslie Page, age 77, passed away Monday, January 10, 2022 at her home. She was born in Cynthiana on January 14, 1944 to the late William K. and Edyth M. Adair Talbott. Besides her parents she is preceded in death by four brothers and sisters, Hazel M. Hall, Virginia S. Talbott, John K. Talbott, and William S. Talbott.
Josie, a name used by many friends and family alike. Highly favored by her peers and well known in her community. Josie was hard working, funny, beautiful, outspoken, and kind. Her voice could fill an empty room while her smile could warm a cold heart. She was sharp, witty and oh so stylish. A dedicated matriarch. A wonderful mother. The best grandmother. An aunt. A sister. And a friend. She was everything and, she will be deeply missed.
She is survived by five children, Angela M. (Frank) Allen, Lavon S. Page Jr., Belinda S. Page, Joseph C. Page, Natasha R. Page; one sister, Georgia E. Talbott; grandchildren, Dametra N. Crutchfield, Kia M. (Edward) Silvels, Chauncee Page, Christian Page, Cherisha E. (Chris) Bedford, Jovon Williams, Sylvonia D. Williams, Kiara Page, Zoey Page, Laneisha Page, Lanaysha Page, Albert Crutchfield III, Marcus Crutchfield, Jessica Hardy, Robin (Hank) Johnson, Nikki Allen; fifteen great-grandchildren: Jah’Quez Crutchfield, Jadarian Crutchfield, Luca Silvels, Tyce Silvels, Lavon D. Page, Faith Page, Kingston Page, Chenel Collins, Amari Collins, Corvallis Bedford, Charisma Bedford, Mason Ware, Aaliyah Allen, Aaron Sarpong, Hendrick Johnson and Harmony Johnson; several nieces, nephews, and close friends.
A funeral service will be held on Tuesday, January 18th at 2:00 PM at Ware Funeral Home, with visitation beginning at 12:00 PM. Rev. Melvin Gross will officiate the services. Burial will be in Cherry Grove Cemetery. Family is requesting that face masks be worn.
