JOSHUA “DICK” ISON, age 62, Mt. Olivet, died Wednesday, February 10, 2010 at Robertson County Health Care. Born in Robertson County, September 14, 1947 to the late, Rufus and Flora Burchett Ison, he was a United States Army veteran and a retired State Highway Department employee. Besides his parents he was preceded in death by his wife, Crystal Ann White Ison; two brothers and five sisters.

He is survived by a son, Jason Lee Ison, Mt. Olivet; daughter, Amanda (Terry) Gray, Mt. Olivet; a brother, Eddie (Margaret) Jacobs, Mt. Olivet, two sisters, Barbara (Michael) Curtis, Lexington and Ina Burkett, Somerset and three grandchildren, Keyanna Nicole Ison, Nathanial Thomas Gray and Andrew Carson Gray.

Funeral services will be conducted 2:00 P.M. Sunday at Robertson County Funeral Home by Bro. Doug Wright and Bro. Dee Whitaker. Visitation will be from 5:00 until 8:00 P.M. Saturday at the funeral home. Burial will be in Mt. Olivet Cemetery.
