JOY C. GROVES, age 77, Robertson County, died Sunday, August 9, 2009, at the Robertson County Health Care Facility. Born in Robertson County, April 23, 1932, to the late Jack and Bernice Wood McKenzie, she was a U. S. Playing Cards retiree and a member of Germantown Baptist Church. Besides her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Herbert Lee "Frog" Groves and a sister, Ada Liming. She is survived by a sister, Carrlynn Welch, Florida and several nieces, nephews and cousins.

Funeral services will be conducted 3:00 P.M. Wednesday at the Robertson County Funeral Home by Bro. Doug Wright with visitation at 12:00 P.M. Burial will be in Piqua Cemetery.
