Juanita Hoover Lawson, age 90, of Cynthiana, passed away peacefully Tuesday, July 11, 2023, at her home. She was born in Floyd County, KY, on October 18, 1932, to the late Levi and Elizabeth Hicks Hoover. Juanita, a member of the Claysville Christian Church, was also preceded in death by her husband, Richard Lawson; a grandson, Michael David Fryman; a great-grandson Kyle Wesley Absher; and several brothers and sisters.
She is survived by her four daughters, Belinda (David) Fryman, Janet (Joey) Absher, Teresa (Loren) Kaenzig, Raye (Harold) Turner; eight grandchildren, Krickett “Kris” Fryman, Davina (David) Morris, Richard “Tigger” (Dawn) Absher, Angela Dawn (Jason) Bell, Samantha (Josh) DeWitt, Rebecca (Josh) Tribble, Logan Michael (Kayleigh) Kaenzig, Daniel (Hailey) Cox; and thirteen great-grandchildren.
Juanita loved her family and spending time with them. She also enjoyed vacations, the beach and flowers.
Funeral services will be conducted at 1:00 P.M., Friday, July 14, 2023, at Ware Funeral Home with visitation beginning at 11:00 A.M. Kevin Madison, will be delivering the service and burial will follow in Kentontown Cemetery. Pallbearers will be as follows: Loren Kaenzig, Harold Turner, Logan Kaenzig, Daniel Cox, Scott Rarrick, Krickett Fryman. Honorary Pallbearers are David Fryman, Joey Absher, Josh DeWitt, Josh Tribble, David Morris, and Richard “Tigger” Absher. Contributions toward funeral expenses may be made to Ware Funeral Home, P.O.
