Lana “Jackie” J Taylor Cox Ledford, age 80, passed away Sunday, March 28, 2022, in Nicholasville, Kentucky. She was born in Casey County, July 12, 1941, to the late Charlie Taylor and Mary Tabscott Taylor. Besides her parents, she is proceeded in death by two husbands, William Cox and Ray Ledford; and one daughter, Shirley Ann Cox.
Survivors include: one son, William Larry (Theresa) Cox; two daughters, Jessie (Darrell) Kimberling, and Lana (Randy) McKinney; three brothers, Cleo (Wilma) Taylor, Danny (Betsy) Taylor, and Ronnie (Mark) Taylor; one sister, Annalee (June) Montgomery; eight grandchildren, Darrell (Misty) Kimberling Jr. “Bub”, Timothy (Cassie) Kimberling, Holly (Aaron) Kimberling, Brendan Estes, Joshua Joe McKinney, Melissa Horton, Sandra Cox, and Sharon Martinez; fifteen great-grandchildren, Carrie Kimberling, Logan Collins, Terry Beasley, Alliyah Beasley, Braxton Kimberling, Luna Kimberling, Abby Thomas, Chloe Abner, Silvara Horton, Raistlin Horton, Antonio Rayon, Landon Cox, Luis Martinez, Javier Martinez, and Arturo Martinez; and three great-great grandchildren, River, Ozzie, and Xander.
Funeral Services will be held on Sunday, April 3rd, 2022 at 2:00 P.M., at Ware Funeral Home. Officiating the service will be, Bro. Benny Northcutt. Visitation will be Saturday, April 2nd from 4:00 P.M. to 8:00 P.M., also at Ware Funeral Home. Burial will be at the family cemetery.
Active pallbearers will be Joshua McKinney, Aaron Abner, Luis Martinez, Scott Kimberling, Bub Kimberling, and Anthony Horton.
