Obituary for Larry Dwayne Poynter
Larry Dwayne Poynter, age 56 of Cynthiana, died Saturday, June 10, 2023 at University of Kentucky Medical Center. Born in Biloxi, Mississippi on October 17, 1966 to the late Morris Douglas and Billie Joyce Strait Poynter. Besides his parents he was preceded in death by his brother, Billy Alan Tyler; and a grandson, Case Brewer.
He is survived by his wife, Darlene Poynter; two sons, Shaun (Brandi) Brewer and Steven (Kylin Wooten) Poynter; four daughters, Toshia Tuggle and Tatum Poynter both from Harrison County, Angelica (Kameron) Harless and Mariah Miller both from Texas; a brother, Steven Douglas Poynter; and three grandchildren, Anna Fleming, Brayden Brewer and Alani Custard.
Funeral services will be conducted at 3:00 P.M. Saturday, June 17, 2023 at Ware Funeral Home with visitation from 1:00 P.M. to 3:00 P.M. at Ware Funeral Home.
