Leon Eubanks, age 81, passed away peacefully on Saturday, June 18, 2022, at Harborview Dover Health Systems in Georgetown, KY. He was born in Bourbon County, Kentucky on August 21, 1940, to the late Floyd Edward and Garnetta Hill Eubanks. Besides his parents he is preceded in death by a brother, Bradley Eubanks; a sister, Geraldine Tolson; and one grandson, Matthew Eubanks.
He is survived by his beloved wife Flora Wilson Eubanks; five sons, David (Patricia) Eubanks, Gary (Ramona) Eubanks, Timmy (Susie) Eubanks, Jamie (Sherry) Eubanks, Greg (Christy) Eubanks; two daughters, Lisa (James Hutchison) Eubanks, Debbie (John) Eubanks-Brueggen; seventeen grandchildren, Daniel Eubanks, Jessica Wheat, Zachary Workman, Josh Eubanks, James Allen Eubanks, Amanda Sue Eubanks, Alexa Eubanks, Olivia Eubanks, Jessica Faulkner, Rebecca True, Tiffaney Williams, Amber Eubanks, Isaiah Eubanks, Eli Eubanks, Benjamin Bradford, Jacob Brueggen, Isaiah Brueggen; twenty great grandchildren, Aiden Wheat, Triniti Eubanks, Lillie Eubanks, McKenzie Eubanks, Logan Wheat, Isabella Wheat, Nevaeh Faulkner, Jayden Faulkner, Raiden Eubanks, Holden Eubanks, Gabriel Eubanks, Silas Eubanks, Fraya Eubanks, Mason King, Kara Lee Eubanks, Raeanah Eubanks, Kayleigh True, Michael Palmer, Paislee Williams, and Cory Williams.
A funeral service will be held on Wednesday, June 22, 2022, at 1:00 PM, at Ware Funeral Home. Visitation will be held Tuesday, June 21, 2022, from 5:00 PM until 8:00 PM, at Ware Funeral Home. Bro. Jessy Hickerson and Bro. Kevin Strausbaugh will be officiating. Burial will be at Battle Grove Cemetery. Pallbearers are Daniel Eubanks, Josh Eubanks, James Allen Eubanks, Ben Bradford, Isaiah Eubanks, Eli Eubanks, and Matthew Eubanks.
