Obituary for Leroy Dance
Leroy Dance, age 85 passed away Friday, August 6, 2021 at Grand Haven Nursing Home. He was born on November 14, 1935 to the late Marion Frances “Frank” and Cora Bell Frederick Dance. Besides his parents he is preceded in death by his wife, Sheridon Lee Dance; one son, Mark Glick; and two sisters, Grace Carol Cooper, and Jo Ann Dance.
He was an Army Veteran, and had retired from Kentucky Motors in Cynthiana. He was also a member of Falmouth Christian Church where he served as a Deacon, and a member of Cynthiana Elks Lodge # 438 for forty-five years.
He is survived by two daughters, Dawn Denise Dance, Printhia Charlene “Charlii” (Brian) Rowe; four grandchildren, Ciji (Nick) Lukins, Jeremy Baxter, William Joseph “Joey” (Jaquline) Baxter; six great grandchildren, Alex, Emily, Bradyn, Izzy, Jamison, Kayle; one nephew, Allen (Kendra) Cooper; two nieces, Andrea (Pat) Elkin, Susen (Brian) Wink; and his faithful dog and companion, Molly.
A funeral service will be held on Saturday, August 14th at 11:00 AM at Ware Funeral Home. Bro. Keith Hemphill will officiate the services. Visitation will be on Friday, August 13th from
5:00 PM – 8:00 PM at Ware Funeral Home. Burial will be in Battle Grove Cemetery Meditation Building. In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to Falmouth Christian Church, 303 W. Shelby St., Falmouth, KY 41040, or to the Cynthiana Elks Lodge, C/O Steve Anderson, 1255 Hick Hardy Rd, Cynthiana, KY 41031.
