Obituary for Leroy Fryman

LEROY FRYMAN, age 89, Bee Lick Road, Mt. Olivet, died Saturday, January 23, 2010, at his residence. Born in Nicholas County, January 10, 1921, to the late Jed and Annie Bryant Fryman, he was a retired farmer and Ladish Company employee. Mr. Fryman was a member of the Kentontown Christian Church and a World War II Korean Conflict Army veteran. Besides his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Ruth Mae Mynear Fryman; a brother, Thurman Fryman and two sisters, Stella Wagoner and Alice Bell Hopkins.

He is survived by four sons, Dale (Zona) Fryman, Cynthiana and Tony (Dannita) Fryman, Kenneth Fryman and Timothy (Glennetta) Fryman, all of Mt. Olivet; seven daughters, Joyce (Steve) Jones, Brenda Faye Fryman, Lisa Carol Fryman and Melissa (Billy) Thomas, all of Mt. Olivet and Patricia (Jimmy) Bell, Pamela (Tim) Brown and Tracy (David) Long, all of Cynthiana; three brothers, John Fryman, Mt. Olivet and Luther (Cleo) Fryman and Donald (Jane) Fryman, both of Cynthiana; three sisters, Bea (Charles) Carter, Cynthiana, Eula (Bill) Cooper, Mt. Olivet and Edna (James) Wright, Paris; twenty two grandchildren; sixteen great grandchildren and a great great-grandchild.

Funeral services will be conducted 2:00 P.M. Tuesday at the Robertson County Funeral Home by Bro. Dee Whitaker. Visitation will be from 5:00 until 8:00 P.M. Monday. Burial will be in Kentontown Cemetery. Memorial contributions may be made to Kentontown Cemetery.
