Obituary for Lewis "Carl" Carlton Duncan

Lewis “Carl” Carlton Duncan, age 89, passed away Sunday, September 26th, 2021, at Harrison Memorial Hospital. He worked for Webber Farms in Cynthiana, KY for 47 years where he retired. He was a member of Journey Community Christian Church, the Cynthiana Elks Club #438, a 2X Kentucky Colonel, & a member of the Classic Car Club, Cynthiana, KY “Just for Fun Bunch” He was born in Scott County on April 4th, 1932, to the late Harry Russell & Lucy Margaret Switzer Duncan.
Besides his parents, he is preceded in death by one grandson, Duncan Tyler Bell; one daughter-in-law, Janet Kay Fields Duncan.
He is survived by his wife of 58 years, Patricia Duckworth Duncan; three sons, Bobby (Connie) Duncan, Larry Duncan, Gary (Teresa) Duncan; two daughters; Connie (Justin) Bell, Sherry Judy; thirteen grandchildren, Heather Perry, Jody Duncan, Stacy Duncan, Kevin Duncan, Kyle Duncan, Elizabeth Smith, David Bell, Lance McIlvain, Tucker Judy, Russ Judy, Jack Judy, Logan Duncan, Hannah Horrell; & eighteen great grandchildren.
A Funeral Service will be held on Thursday, September 30th, 2021, at 11:00 AM at Ware Funeral Home with Bro. Bobby Duncan & Kyle Duncan officiating. A visitation will be held on Wednesday, September 29th, 2021, from 5:00 PM- 8:00 PM at Ware Funeral Home. Burial will be at Battle Grove Cemetery.
Serving as pallbearers will be the grandson’s Lance McIlvain, Tucker Judy, Russ Judy, Jack Judy, Kevin Duncan, Logan Duncan, Jody Duncan, Jacob Horrell, Jeremy Smith, Garry Perry. Honorary pallbearers will be Classic Car Club of Cynthiana, Ky “Just for Fun Bunch”
