LILLIAN ETHEL SHEPHERD, age 83, Cedar Creek Road, Mt. Olivet, died Sunday, June 27, 2010 at her residence. Born in Mason County, December 17, 1926, to the late Roosevelt and Alma Bell Linville Frederick, she was a farmer and very active in the Licking Valley Community Action Center. Besides her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Clarence Emmitt Shepherd and two sisters, Jell Dean Nickerson and Mary Lucille Frederick.

She is survived by three daughters, Rosa Lee Poe, Lillie Mullikin and Barb (Kenny) Highfield, all of Mt. Olivet; two brothers, Levis Frederick, Mt. Olivet and William "Bud" Eldridge Frederick, Stonewall; seven grandchildren; three great grandchildren and one great great-grandson.

Funeral services will be conducted 1:00 P.M. Thursday at Robertson County Funeral Home by Bro. Doug Wright. Visitation will be from 5:00 until 8:00 P.M. Wednesday at the funeral home. Burial will be in Shannon Cemetery.

Active pallbearers will be Kyle Noble, Danny Poe, Rob Linville, Mike Linville, Vernon Kenneth Highfield, Jr. and Eric Scott Highfield.
