Obituary for Lois Judy (Adams)
Lois Adams Judy, age 84, Cynthiana, died Monday, February 28, 2023 at her residence. Born in Madisonville on July 17, 1938 to the late Ralph E. and Frances Murfin Adams, she was a retired register nurse and director for Wedco District Health Department and co-founder of Eastside Pharmacy. Lois was a member of the Harrison Memorial Hospital Auxiliary, St Edward Catholic Church and the Cynthiana Sorority formerly Beta Sigma Phi Sorority. Besides her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, John Ronald “Ron” Judy; a son, Brian Thomas Judy and a brother, Marshall Murfin Adams.
She is survived by a son, Ronald Alan (Lourena) Judy; a daughter, Nancy Judy Walker; three brothers, James E. Adams, Bob (Margaret) Adams and Don (Bonnie) Adams; seven grandchildren, Jacob Duran Walker, Payton Elizabeth Walker, Katherine Elizabeth Judy, Hannah Casey Judy, Meredith Ann Judy, Elizabeth Jeneane Judy and Addison Renee Judy; a daughter-in-law, Misty Judy; a sister-in-law, Nancy Adams; two special cousins, Jane Grace and Ann Keith and three special friends, Wilbur and Kaye Wilson and Judy Gasser Florence.
A Mass of Christian burial will be conducted 11:00 A.M. Monday, March 6, 2023 at St. Edward Catholic Church by Father Mike Williams. Visitation will be from 4:00 P.M. until 7:00 P.M. Sunday, March 5, 2023 at Ware Funeral Home with rosary at 7:00 P.M. Burial will be in St. Edward Cemetery following the service.
