Obituary for Louella Mae Moore

LOUELLA MAE MOORE, age 91, Robertson County, passed away Thursday, December 20 at the Robertson County Health Care Facility. She was born April 25, 1921 in Robertson County to the late Roy B. and Stella Whaley Robertson, she was a museum guide for Blue Licks Battlefield State Resort Park for thirthy-one years, loved farm work, sitting with the elderly and was a lifelong member of the Piqua Christian Church. Besides her parents, she is preceded in death by her husband, William "Bill" Moore; two brothers, Julian Robertson and Logan Bell Robertson; a sister, Evelyn Marcella Dotson and a uncle, Arthur Robertson.

She is survived by a special friend, Donald Ruark, Robertson County; a sister, Deloris Dryden, Robertson County; a sister in-law, Francis Robertson, Germantown; Nieces and Nephews, Diana Poe, Sandra (Emmitt) McConnell, Jr., Kevin Dryden, Sharon (James, Jr.) Sanders and Steve (Ida) Robertson; numerous great nieces and great nephews and several great great-nieces and great great-nephews.

Funeral services will be conducted 2:00 P.M. Sunday at Piqua Christian Church by Bro. Tom Mitchell. Visitation will be from 6:00 until 9:00 P.M. Saturday at the Robertson County Funeral Home and 1:00 P.M. on Sunday at the church. Burial will be in Piqua Cemetery. Memorial contributions may go to the Piqua Christian Church Cemetery Fund.

Active pallbearers will be Keith Ellis, Owney Gifford, Jr., Larry Beckett, Frank Gifford, Kevin Dotson and James Michael McConnell. Honorary pallbearers will be Kevin Dryden, Steve Robertson, Shawn Cracraft and Roger Poe, Jr.
