In addition to raising his children with Ann, they also raised dairy cattle, sows, horses, chickens, sheep and ducks. Louis was an extremely hard worker, and even his hobbies involved working. His favorite pastime was house remodeling and building additions onto the farmhouse. Louis was an accomplished welder and repairman which was a great asset on the farm. In their later years Louis and Ann enjoyed traveling and spending time with family in their RV. Louis was very saddened by the loss of his beloved Ann on April 3, 2023.
