LOUISA GERTRUDE ELLIS EDWARDS, age 77, Robertson County, died Monday, May 7, 2012 at her residence. Born in Robertson County August 24, 1934 to the late Charles and Martha King Ellis, she was a homemaker, member of the Kentontown Christian Church and the Senior Citizens. Mrs. Edwards was very active in the church and community. Besides her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Paul Edwards, two brothers, Charles K. Ellis and Strother B. Ellis and two sisters, Emma Edna Ellis and Sarah Catherine Habermehl.

She is survived by three sons, Harold A. (Bertie) Edwards, Brooksville, Daryl (Karen) Edwards, Bracken County and Danny Ray (Sandi) Edwards, Robertson County; four daughters, Carolyn (Tim) Pratt, Robertson County, Linda Edwards, Mt. Olivet; Paula (Gus) Woerner, Robertson County and Wanda (Danny) Hicks, Harrison County; a brother, Ernest (Shirley) Ellis, Robertson County; eight grandchildren, Stacey Hicks, Tracey Hicks, Paul Edwards, Clay Edwards, Daniel Edwards, Jessica Edwards, Darrin Edwards and Samantha Woerner and several nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be conducted 11:00 A.M. Friday at Robertson County Funeral Home by Ed Applegate and Bro. Clifford Neat. Visitation will be from 5:00 until 8:00 P.M. Thursday at the funeral home. Burial will be in Ellis Cemetery in Robertson County.
