Obituary for Margret May Workman Jacobs

MARGRET MAY WORKMAN JACOBS, age 65, Mt. Olivet, died Thursday, March 18, 2010 at Harrison Memorial Hospital. Born in Robertson County, January 29, 1945, to the late William "Bill" and Leona Elizabeth White Workman, she was a homemaker and a member of the New Corinth Christian Church. Besides her parents she was preceded in death by two brothers, William Workman and Evert "Dick" Workman and four sisters, Marie McGee, Lucille Hamilton, Virginia "Jenny" Moore and Betty Wheeler.

She is survived by her husband, Eddie Jacobs; a son, Eddie Wayne (Cathy) Jacobs, Mt. Olivet; three daughters, Avis (Marvin) Conn, Carrie (Billy) Highlander and Jessica Jacobs, all of Mt. Olivet; three brothers, Donnie (Margie) Workman and Bobby (Christine) Workman , both of Fleming County and Charlie Workman, Mayslick; two sisters, Juanita Colemire, Mt. Olivet and Pearl Stanton, Mason County, five grandchildren, Robert Fite, Timmy Jacobs, Brittany Fite, Katie Jacobs and Margret Highlander; a step-grandson, Jason Conn; a great granddaughter, Maggie Maynard and a special friend, Bobby Fite.

Funeral services will be conducted 2:00 P.M. Sunday at Robertson County Funeral Home by Bro. Dee Whitaker. Visitation will be from 5:00 until 8:00 P.M. Saturday at the funeral home. Burial will be in Mt. Olivet Cemetery. Memorial contributions may be made to New Corinth Christian Church, c/o Thomas Mitchell, 757 Sardis Road, Mt. Olivet, Kentucky 41064.

Active pallbearers will be Jamie Moore, Bobby Fite, Gary Colemire, Jason Workman, David Carmack and Michael Paul Curtis. Honorary pallbearers will be Johnny Workman, Gary Lee and Tommy Buck.
