Marjorie E. Whitlock Kuhl, age 95, passed away Saturday, October 2nd, 2021, at Grand Haven Nursing Home. She was born in Madison County on October 5th, 1925, to the late William Albert & Ophelia Francis Azbill Whitlock. She was a member of the Cynthiana Women’s democrat Club, & a KY Colonel. Besides her parents she is proceeded in death by her special parents Isaac “Ike” & Margaret Forbes; her husband, Lewis William Kuhl; one son, Lewis “buddy” Stanley Kuhl; one daughter, Linda Sue Kuhl Whitaker; five brothers, Joe “Tommy” Thomas Whitlock, Albert Douglas Whitlock, Charles “Corney” Whitlock, David Pryce Whitlock, William “Billy” Whitlock; two sisters, Ruth McKnight, Christine “Cricket” Gillispie; four grandchildren, Brianna Whitaker, James Hunter Arnold, Andrew Kyle Swartz, Jamie Jo Lynn; four special sons-in-law, Glenn Whitaker, Marvin Swartz Jr, Jerry Foley, Farrell Bowman; one daughter-in-law, Lawanda Kuhl.
She is survived by, three daughters, Elizabeth “Libby” Swartz Bowman, Virginia “Jenny” (Larry) Charles, Margaret (Terry “Curly”) McDowell; two brothers, Millard Whitlock, Harold “Catfish” Whitlock; fourteen grandchildren, Julianna Grissom, Jamie Whitaker, Kathy Hollis, Jody Lewis Whitaker, Kenny Lynn Whitaker, Jason Whitaker, Clarissa Sowers, Marie Greene, Marty Allen Swartz, Amy Beth Swartz, James Anthony Arnold, Rodney Wayne Arnold, Dannie Martin, Isabelle Martin; & many, many, Great Grandchildren, Great-Great Grandchildren, & Great-Great-Great Grandchildren. A great big thank you to Dr, McKemie JR, Dr. Besson, Dr. Lindsey Florence, & all the staff at Grand Haven Nursing Home. Pallbearer’s will be James Arnold, Marty Swartz, Amy Swartz, Jody Whitaker, Kenny Whitaker, Jason Whitaker. Honorary Pallbearers will be Rodney Arnold, Jamie Whitaker, Julianna Grissom, Kathy Hollis, Clarissa Sowers, Marie Greene, Dannie Martin, Isabelle Martin. A funeral will be held on Saturday, October 9th, 2021, at 2:00 PM with Bro. Kevin Jett officiating with a visitation beginning at 11:00 AM until the time of service at Ware Funeral Home. Burial will be held at Jacksonville Cemetery 1180 Russell Cave Rd Paris, KY 40361.
