Obituary for Marjorie Louise Pickett
Marjorie Louise Pickett, age 99, passed away Tuesday, January 11, 2022 at her home. She was born in Harrison County on September 12, 1922 to the late Orville William and Mary Lou Angel Dowd. Besides her parents she is preceded in death by her husband, Floyd Bannister Pickett; two sons, George Pickett, Gordon Pickett; and ten brothers and sisters.
She is survived by one son, David Wayne Pickett; one daughter, Mary (Gary) Taylor; one sister, Lena Walden; five grandchildren, BJ Sizemore, Ryan Pickett, Laura Pickett, Allen Picket, Lisa Pickett; and several great-grandchildren.
A funeral service will be held on Monday, January 17th at 2:00 PM, with visitation beginning at 12:00 PM. Burial will be at Robinson Family Cemetery on Stringtown Webber Rd.
