Obituary for Martha Rumford
MARTHA RUMFORD, age 83, Cynthiana, died Sunday, December 28, 2014 at Woodcrest Nursing Home in Elsmere. Born in Pendleton County, July 17, 1931, to the late Beverly and Virginia Perkins Wright, she was a homemaker and a member of the Milford Christian Church. Besides her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, John William Rumford; two brothers and three sisters.
She is survived by three daughters, Doris Ann Whalen, Cynthiana, Marsha Denise Wachter, Cynthiana and Sheila Ruth Rumford, Milford; two brothers, Seaman Wright and Wayne Wright; three sisters, Wilma Meenach, Bessie Teegarden and Marcella Murphy; three grandchildren, Rhoda Crump, Sherri Franklin and Sierra Wachter and two great grandchildren, Gannon Crump and Tyler Franklin.
A memorial service will be held 2:00 P.M. Saturday at the Milford Christian Church in Bracken County with visitation at 1:00 P.M. Arrangements are under the direction of Ware Funeral Home. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Milford Christian Church Building Fund.
