Mary Ann Thelen Urlage Perraut, age 85, Cynthiana, died Saturday, March 4, 2023 at her residence. Born in New York City, New York on April 28, 1937 to the late William C. and Ann Louise Jones Thelen, she was a licensed registered nurse for 50 years, a mother to three good sons and wife. Mary Ann was a member of St. Edward Catholic Church where she served as Eucharist Minister for almost 30 years and took Holy Communion to the homebound. She was a 20 year volunteer for Hospice and taught reading to adults through the Cynthiana Library. Besides her parents, she was preceded on death by her husbands, Thomas John Urlage and Albert William Perraut and a brother, William “Bill” Thelen.
She is survived by three sons, Tony (Kim) Perraut, Kevin Louis Perraut and Mark David Perraut; a brother, David S. (Joan) Thelen; a sister-in-law, Jo Thelen; three grandchildren, Sydney, A.J. and Addison and a great grandson, Kolt.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be held 12:00 P.M. Wednesday, March 8, 2023 at St. Edward Catholic Church with visitation from 9:00 A.M. until 11:00 A.M. at Ware Funeral Home. Burial will be in St. Edward Cemetery.
