Mary Imogene Wagoner Asbury, age 74, passed away Saturday, September 11th,2021 at Georgetown Hospital. She retired from Bourbon Heights Nursing Home & was a member of Rose Hill United Methodist Church. She was born in Cynthiana, KY on January 28th,1947 to the late Eugene Harry & Margaret Lee Livingood Wagoner. Besides her parents, she is preceded in death by her husband, George Franklin Asbury; one daughter, Ginger Ann Asbury; one son-in-law, Stephen Daniel Morris; one sister-in-law, Betty Willoughby; three brothers-in-law, Tony Asbury SR, Billy Ray Asbury, Eslie Asbury.
She is survived by two daughters, Pamela Asbury, Michelle Morris; three grandson’s, Matthew (Karol) Morris, Bradley (Ashley) Morris, Dustin (Erin) Morris; four great-grandchildren, Brinley Morris, Evelyn Morris, Amelia Morris, Brayden Vanhoose; one sister; Carolyn Puckett; one brother, James Lee Wagoner; two sisters-in-law, Mary Willoughby, Penny Watkins; one brother-in-law, David Lee Asbury. Pallbearers will be Matthew Morris, Bradley Morris, Dustin Morris, Jeff Asbury, Matthew Hash, Davey Asbury. Honorary Pallbearers will be Tony Asbury JR, David Lee Asbury, James Lee Wagoner.
A funeral service will be held on Friday, September 17th,2021 at 1:00 PM at Ware Funeral Home performed by Rev. Jonathan Graves with a visitation from 11:00AM until the time of service. Burial will be at Mt. Pleasant Cemetery 258 Mt. Pleasant Rd Cynthiana, KY 4103, Contributions can made to Mt. Pleasant Cemetery.
