Obituary for Mary Frances Courtney (Wright)
Mary Frances Wright Courtney, age 80, passed away Monday, July 18, 2022, at her home. She was born in Scott County, Kentucky on June 7, 1942, to the late Charles G. and Mary Elizabeth Wright. Also preceding her in death is her husband, Teddy Louis Courtney; four brothers, Charles A. Wright, Cecil Wright, Gerald Thomas Wright, and James Lee Wright; and one granddaughter, Sandy Courtney.
She is survived by four sons, Wayne (Carla) Courtney, Jeff (Stacey) Courtney, Charlie (Lana) Courtney, and Matthew Courtney; two daughters, Debbie (Jerry) Prows and Susan Pike; one brother, Larry Wright; and two sisters, Dorothy Fryman and Barbara Knuth; ten grandchildren; and seven great grandchildren.
A funeral service will be held on Saturday, July 23rd at 11:00 AM at Ware Funeral Home. Visitation will be held Friday, July 22nd from 5:00-8:00 PM, at Ware Funeral Home. Bro. Sammy Harris will preside, and burial will follow at Battle Grove cemetery. Pallbearers will be CL Courtney, Steven Courtney, Brandon Perez, Zak Perez, Ethan Prows, and Brady Prows. Honorary pallbearers will be Ricky Wright and Jacob Moore.
