MARY L. SPARKS CRUTCHER, age 63, Harding Road, Mt. Olivet, died Saturday, December 15, at her residence. Born in Covington, July 18, 1949, to the late Leonard Leroy and Montie Elanore Sparks, she was a former employee of Army Air Force Exchange Systems, Harrison Bank and Kentucky Finance. Mrs. Crutcher was a member of Unity Christian Church and was a military spouse for twenty-eight years. Besides her parents, she was preceded in death by two brothers, Leonard Sparks and John Sparks.

She is survived by her husband, Alvin "Ron" Crutcher; a son, Ronald Steven (Maribeth) Crutcher, Owenton; a daughter, Kimberle Ann (Darrell) Boone, Cynthiana; a sister, Margaret (Bill) Strange, Falmouth; three grandchildren, Stevy Leigh Ashley, Gracie Irene Wyatt and Cody Layne Wyatt and a great grandson, Oliver Jude Ashley.

Funeral services will be conducted 1:00 P.M. Wednesday at Unity Christian Church by Bro. Merrill Mitchell. Visitation will be from 5:00 until 8:00 P.M. Tuesday at Ware Funeral Home and noon Wednesday at the church. Burial will be in Kentucky Veterans Cemetery North in Williamstown. Memorial contributions are suggested to The Gideons International.
