Obituary for Mary L. Wilson Ritchie

MARY L. WILSON RITCHIE, age 77, Greenville, South Carolina, formerly of Mt. Olivet, died Wednesday, February 11, 2015 at St. Francis Hospital Downtown in Greenville. Born in Mason County, May 13, 1937 to the late Ira M. and Mary Lula Tucker Wilson, she was a homemaker and a member of New Hope Christian Church in Mason County and Piedmont Christian Church in South Carolina. Besides her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Roy S. Ritchie; two sons, E.R. Ritchie and Michael Davis Ritchie; a step-son, Roy Spencer Ritchie; three brothers, Billy Gene Wilson, Ellsworth "Bud" Wilson and Ellis Warder Wilson; four sisters, Bonnie Sue Wilson, Irene French, Betty Jane Applegate and Marlene Bolar; a granddaughter, Rebekka Ritchie.

She is survived by three sons, Dwayne A. Ritchie, Roger Dale (Sonya) Ritchie and William Earl (Pat) Ritchie, all of Robertson County; two step-daughters, Beverly (Jack) McEldowney, Lewis County and Kimberly Thompson, Mason County; a daughter-in-law, Vickie Ritchie, Bracken County; a half-brother, Howard P. French, Clarksville, Tennessee; a half-sister, Carolyn Campbell, South Bend, Indiana; four grandchildren, Michael Ritchie and Jacob Ritchie, both of Pendleton County, Robert Rowe, Ripley, Ohio and Shasta Ritchie, Bracken County; three step-grandchildren; a great granddaughter and a special niece, Carolyn Lister.

Funeral services will be conducted 2:00 P.M. Sunday at Robertson County Funeral Home by Bro. Dee Whitaker with visitation at 1:00 P.M. Burial will be in Kentontown Cemetery. Memorial contributions may be made to the American Cancer Society, American Diabetes Association or one's favorite charity.
