Obituary for Nathan Sturl Ritchie
Nathan “Sturl” Ritchie, age 88, Cynthiana died Tuesday, January 31, 2023 at his residence. Born in Nicholas County on January 18, 1935 to the late Nathan and Hazel Argo Ritchie, he was a barber and was a friend of Journey Church. Besides his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Beatrice Doyle Ritchie; two brothers, Dudley Ritchie and Vinson Ritchie and two sisters, Pauline Jenkins and Wilma McCord.
He is survived by two sons, Jerry (Kellie) Ritchie and Mike (Nena) Ritchie; four grandchildren, Nathan Michael Ritchie, Dhianna Farmer, Carlo Labudiong and Gina Guillen and seven great grandchildren, Makayla, Parker, Kourtney, Andrew, Adaline, Peyton and Rowan.
A memorial service will be conducted 12:00 P.M. Saturday, February 4, 2023 at Ware Funeral Home by Bobby Duncan with visitation at 10:00 A.M.
