Obituary for Nettie Green Meeks
Nettie Green Meeks, age 100, passed away April 1, 2020 at her residence. She was born in Carlisle on January 26, 1920 to the late Velcie Sosbe and Mamie Feeback Fryman. Besides her parents she is preceded in death by her first husband, John Daniel Morris; her second husband; Robert Meeks; and her brothers and sisters.
She is survived one daughter, Lisa Gilbert; one son, Daniel Morris; one brother, LeRoy Fryman; eight grandchildren, Matthew Gamble, Michael Wills, Elizabeth Diaz, Sunday Gamble, Ambrosia Conteras, Robert Gamble, Jonathan Gamble, Carol Ann Hunt; and several great-grandchildren.
