Pat C. Tussey, age 88, Cynthiana, died Tuesday, April 4, 2023 at Harrison Memorial Hospital. Born in Harrison County on October 8, 1934 to the late Carl V. Colvin and Ruth C. Whitaker, she was co-owner of Tussey Furniture. Besides her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Robert Earl Tussey, Sr.; a son, Robert E. Tussey, Jr.; a stepbrother, Gene Whitaker; stepfather, Cecil G. Whitaker and stepmother, Elizabeth Zeigenfuse.
She is survived by a son, James Kyle (Junarica) Tussey; two daughters, Layne Tussey (Ricky Baker) and LeAnn (David L.) Vernon; a daughter-in-law, Brenda Tussey; a half-brother, Victor Alan (Kay) Colvin; six grandchildren, Elizabeth Tussey, Lynnlē Vernon, Eva Joy Vernon, Alex Kylee Tussey, Kyzie Tussey and Zachary Ryan Tussey; four step grandchildren, Felicia Lawson, Melissa Lawson, Mark Daniel Florence and Brad Vernon; three step great grandchildren, William Vernon, Sophie Vernon and Brady Vernon and one niece, Melissa Kay Colvin.
