Obituary for Patricia C Perraut (Curry)

Patricia C. Perraut, age 88, Cynthiana, died Wednesday, September 14, 2022 at Cedar Ridge Health Campus. Born in Louisville, February 6, 1934 to the late William C., Jr and Mary Dorothy Larkin Curry, she was a retired accountant for the Commonwealth of Kentucky, Department of Education and was a Kentucky Colonel recipient. Pat was a member of the St. Edward Catholic Church, Falmouth Road Homemakers and a Kentucky State Homemaker Board Member. She loved playing cards, especially Bridge, an avid reader and loved traveling. During her travels she had visited 49 states and 9 countries. Besides her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Richard E. Perraut; a brother, John William Curry; a brother-in-law, Lewis Gaffin; a son-in-law, Steven Parsons and a special friend, Phyllos Ross.
She is survived by, one son, Major General (Retired) Richard E. (Joann) Perraut, Jr., USAF, Cave Creek, Arizona; three daughters, Susan (Emmett) Mills, Frankfort and Anita K. Parsons and Linda (Charles Dempsey) Parsons, both of Harrison County; a sister, Mary Jo Gaffin, Cynthiana; two sisters-in-law, Pat Curry and Mary Ann Perraut, both of Cynthiana; eight grandchildren, Ricky Perraut, MacKenzie Allen, Michael (Jamie) Mills, Julie (Joe) Stomberg, Jeremy (Crystal) Slade, Allen (Tiffany) Wachter, Sharon (Kenny) Fuller and Steven (Carrie) Parsons, II; fifteen great grandchildren, Luke Perraut, Landon Perraut, Tyler Perraut, Brayden Allen, Lillian Allen, Kennedy Mills, Kaylee Mills, Carson Mills, Joey Stomberg, Jillian Stomberg, Wesley McElfresh, Caden Wachter, Jordan Hearn, Jaxton Hammond and Lanxton Hammond and two special friends, Cheryl Case and Nyria Reynolds.
Mass of Christian Burial will be conducted 11:00 A.M. Monday at St. Edward Catholic Church by Father Niby Kannai and Father Albert Fritsch. Visitation will be from 5:00 P.M. until 8:00 P.M. Sunday at Ware Funeral Home with rosary at 8:00 P.M. Burial will be in St. Edward Cemetery. Memorial contributions may be made to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital, 501 Jude Place, Memphis, Tennessee 38105 or St. Edward Catholic Church, 107 North Walnut Street, Cynthiana, Kentucky 41031.
