Obituary for Pauline Stroub (White)

Pauline Stroub, 83, of Cynthiana, Kentucky fell asleep in death on June 12, 2022. Pauline was born on April 9, 1939, in Breathitt County, Kentucky to Logan and Nancy “Fisher” White. She was predeceased by her husband, Herbert Hoover Stroub (1929-1993) and her daughter Nagonda Gildersleeve (1958-2022).
She is survived by her brother Wallace White (88), her niece, who was more like a sister, Jessie Belleville, other nieces and nephews, her grand-daughter Lora Gildersleeve (Patric Morris) and her great-grand sons, Alexander and Ryan Morris.
She was a long-time resident of Cynthiana and came to be known by many for what she truly loved; that was reading and sharing Bible truths with individuals. These very truths moved Pauline to be baptized as one of Jehovah’s Witnesses on May 4, 2013. She would often quote Revelation 21:3-4 which highlights the promise of “no more death” and Psalm 83:18 where everyone can find God’s personal name “Jehovah”. More recently she quoted John 11:25 as she looked forward to seeing her beloved daughter “resurrected” again on paradise earth, now along with her.
A memorial talk for Pauline will be held on Saturday, June 25 at 1:00pm at the Kingdom Hall of Jehovah’s Witnesses at 4186 US HWY 27N, Cynthiana, KY 41031 (just past mile marker 11). This will be presented in-person as well as available to be connected to via video or phone conferencing. Please call 859-234- 6536 for more information
