Obituary for Phillip Anthony Doolin
Phillip Anthony Doolin, age 62, of Sunrise, passed away on Thursday, September 28, 2023, at his home. Born in Lexington on November 14, 1960, to the late Charlie Dan and Jewell Marie Bruner Doolin. Besides his parents, Phillip was preceded in death by two brothers, Joe Doolin and Glenn Doolin.
He is survived by his sons, Josh Doolin, Jeremy (Kylie) Doolin; a sister, Sheila (Tim) Gadd; two grandchildren, Cole and Maci Doolin. Phillip’s family remembers that he loved reading his Bible, he loved to fish and hunt, and he really just enjoyed people and conversation. He will be missed.
Services will be Tuesday, October 3, 2023, at Battle Grove Cemetery Meditation Building, at 10:00 A.M. Pastor Jim Crace and Chaplin Phillip Moody will preside over services.
