Phyllis Raye Florence, 79, of Cynthiana, KY, passed away on Saturday, May 7, 2022, at Harrison Memorial Hospital. She was born on May 17, 1942, in Fayette County, KY, to the late Carl Mason and Myrtle Lunsford Henderson. Phyllis was also preceded in death by four sisters, Shelia Basile, Betty Jenkins, Geneva Gray, Mary Nunn; and her son Carl Thomas Gregory.
She is survived by two sons, Nelson Florence, Michael (Rebecca) Florence; two daughters, Terri Barnes, Tonya Schrink; one brother, Don (Bert) Henderson; nine grandchildren, Jason Edwards, Jon Edwards, Jarrod Edwards, Heather Gregory, Lauren Gregory, Desiree Florence, Cheznie (Sean) King, Hunter Florence, Makenzie Florence; eight great grandchildren; three great great grandchildren; the loving father of her children, Chuck Florence; and her beloved pet Maggie Mae.
