Obituary for Phyllis Hester (Buckner)
Phyllis Buckner Hester, age 90, passed away Tuesday, September 28th at Robertson County Healthcare Facility. She was born on April 12, 1931 in Sardis, Ky to the late Claude Lebus Buckner and Lyna Dillon Buckner.
Besides her parents, she is preceded in death by her husband Alvin Hester; one son, Phillip Howard Jett; one sister, Glenn Ellyn Buckner McDowell.
She is survived by one brother, David Michael (Phyllis) Buckner; three grandchildren, Jimmy P. (Paula) Jett, Jennifer Jett, Phillip Brian (Shawna) Jett; eight great grandchildren; six great, great grandchildren; a special niece, Claudette (Lynn) Northcutt
A Funeral Service will be held Saturday, October 2nd at 1:00 PM at Robertson County Funeral Home with Bro. Bill Henry officiating. Visitation will be from 11:00 AM until the time of service. Burial will be at Mt. Olivet Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, contributions can be made to Mt. Olivet United Methodist Church.
