Obituary for Richard Major
Richard Major, age 69, passed away Sunday, May 15, 2022, at Robertson County Health Care Facility. He was born in Cincinnati, OH on June 18, 1952, to the late Dallas Major Sr. and Rose Marie Naegele Major. Besides his parents he is preceded in death by four brothers, Gary Major, James Major, Dallas Major Jr., and Dennis Major.
Richard is survived by a daughter, Laurie (Jeremy) Philpot; one brother; Charles Major; two sisters, Marie (Tim) Major Gallagher, Sandra Pettit; two grandchildren, Solomon Philpot, Annsley Philpot; and a host of nieces and nephews.
Funeral Services will be held on Saturday, May 21, 2022, at 1:00 P.M. at Leesburg Christian Church Old Sanctuary(6005 KY HWY 1842 N, Cynthiana, KY 41031). Visitation will be Saturday, May 21, 2022, from 12:00 P.M. to 1:00 P.M., at Leesburg Christian Church. John Welch will be officiating. In lieu of flowers, the family has requested donations may be made to the Shriners Hospital for Children, 2900 Rocky Point Drive, Tampa, FL 33607.
