Obituary for Ricky Faye Myers

RICKY FAYE MYERS, age 61, Mt. Olivet, died Saturday, May 9, 2015 at his residence. Born in Robertson County, February 10, 1954 to the late Clarence Lebus and Mary Katherine Gifford Myers, he was a farmer, a 27 year employee of Ladish, self-employed with Myers Construction, a Robertson County Magistrate, a Robertson County School employee and a member of Kentontown Christian Church. Besides his parents, he was preceded in death by a brother, Royce Myers.
He is survived by his wife, Sherry Cain Myers; three sons, Ashley (Amanda) Myers and Aaron (Kristen) Myers, both of Mt. Olivet and Andrew Myers, Lexington; two brothers, Elwood (Brenda) Myers and Donnie (Jennie) Myers, both of Mt. Olivet; three sisters, Judy (Ralph) Spencer, Georgetown, Bonnie (Gary) Tuel, Sardis and Angie Lykins, Maysville; father-in-law, Lonnie (Toby) Cain, Mt. Olivet and mother-in-law, Doris (Gary) Cain, Mt. Olivet; sister-in-law, Joyce Myers, Mt. Olivet; a brother-in-law, Lon Cain; two grandchildren, Ashton Scott Myers and Allie Katherine Myers; a special friend, Timothy Frederick and numerous nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be 11:00 A.M. Tuesday at Kentontown Christian Church by Bro. Ed Applegate and Bro. Josh Conley. Visitation will be from 5:00 P.M. until 8:00 P.M. Monday at Robertson County Funeral Home and 10:00 A.M. Tuesday at the church. Burial will be in Kentontown Cemetery. Memorial contributions may be made to Kentontown Christian Church.

Active pallbearers will be Sammy Sato, Mike Simpson, Paul Simpson, Carl Wood, James Martin. Bob Leat, Terry Craycraft and Mike McConnell. Honorary pallbearers will be Perry Poe, Neal Brumley, Tommy Ware, his close friends from Ladish and his Robertson County School family.
