Obituary for Rita Carol Jones
Rita Carol Jones, age 72, passed away on Friday, November 25, 2022, at Robertson County Healthcare facility. She was born on July 23, 1950, in Harrison County to the late Harvey and Lottie Cordray. She was preceded in death by a sister, Charlotte Ammerman.
She is survived by her husband of 52 years, Larry Wayne Jones; one son Larry (Marsha) Jeffrey Jones; a daughter, Jenny (Ricky Nichols) Jones Courtney; a brother, Billy (Wyanda) Cordray; one sister, Wanda (J. Frank) Marsh; eight grandchildren, Logan (Madison) Courtney, Grace Courtney, Emma Courtney, Abby Courtney, Sam Courtney, Will Courtney, Julia Jones, Lily Jones; one great grandchild, Knox Courtney.
Services for Rita will be on Monday, November 28, 2022, at the Kentontown Christian Church at 2:00 PM, with Tommy Cox conducting services. Visitation will be prior to services beginning at 10:00 AM. Burial will follow services at the Kentontown Cemetery. Pallbearers are as follows: Phil Mitchell, Tyler Bradford, Billy Fooks, Sanford Holbrook, Terry Craycraft, Wayman Tilton.
