Obituary for Robert Wayne "Bob" Fulton
Robert “Bob” Wayne Fulton, age 74, passed away Saturday, June 5, 2021 at UK Albert B. Chandler Hospital in Lexington, Kentucky. He was born in Fleming County on February 15, 1947 to the late Robert and Catherine Hazel McCord Fulton.
He is survived by his wife, Connie Stewart Fulton; four children, Robert (Michele) Wayne Fulton, Wesley (Robin) Christopher Fulton, Jenny (John) Hagood, and Pat McGee; as well as five grandchildren, Zeth (Haley) Rainey Fulton, Wesley Todd Fulton, Abigail Hagood, Emma McGee, and Garrett Ray Hitch.
Bob graduated from Fleming County High School and later earned his Master’s of Fine Arts from Morehead State University. After graduation, Bob proudly taught at Deming. He then went on to be a middle school art teacher at Harrison County Middle School, from which he later retired. Alongside his passion for teaching, Bob was a proud member of the Kentucky Colonels and the Masonic Lodge St. Andrews No. 18.
A Memorial Service will be held at 7:00 PM Tuesday, June 8th at Ware Funeral Home with visitation starting at 5:00 PM. Father Thomas Galloway will be officiating the services. View and sign the guestbook at www.warefuneralhome.com.
