Ronald Gene Harris, age 78 passed away Friday, February 5, 2021 at Harrison Memorial Hospital. He was born in Cincinnati, OH on September 20, 1942 to the late Edward Eugene and Mildred Nettie Vickers Harris.
He is survived by his wife, Carole Harris; two daughters, Dawn (Tim) Thompson, Kristin Wasson; stepchildren, Carl (Charla) Nunnelley, Susan Nichols; one sister, Phyllis Jones; eight grandchildren, Rebecca Lynn Wasson, Kaila Harris Reynolds, Devin Todd Ecklar, Tyler Nichols, Jacob Nichols, Jason Nichols, Derek (Rachel) Nunnelley, Jenna (Jared) Nunnelley Wells; one great-grandchild, Madden Reynolds; three half-brothers, Steven (Pam) Young, Mike Young, Anthony Harris.
A funeral service will be conducted on Monday, February 8th at 12:00 PM at Ware Funeral Home, with visitation beginning at 11:00 AM. Burial will be in Battle Grove Cemetery. In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to Oddville United Methodist Church, PO Box 43, Cynthiana, KY 41031; or to Gideon Bibles; PO Box 140800, Nashville, TN, 37214-0800.
