Obituary for Ronald Bruce Lovins

RONALD BRUCE LOVINS, age 68, Mt. Olivet, died Sunday, January 4, 2015 at his residence. Born in Cincinnati, Ohio, July 25, 1946 to the late Bruce and Juanita Bunnell Lovins, he was a retired conservation officer from the Kentucky Department of Fish and Wildlife, he ran his own saw mill business, was an automotive painter and a member of the Piqua Methodist Church and the Masons. Mr. Lovins was a talented leather craftsman and a master fishing bait maker. Besides his parents, he was preceded in death by a grandson, Brett Lovins.

He is survived by his wife Barbara McGuire Lovins; two sons, Bruce (Pam) Lovins and Rusty (Annette) Lovins, both of Mt. Olivet; a sister, Barbara (Dale) Schweitzer, Cold Springs and three grandchildren, Hunter Alexis Lovins, Hannah Elizabeth Lovins and Blake Alexander Lovins.

Funeral services will be 3:00 P.M. Tuesday at Piqua United Methodist Church by Bro. Max Cody with visitation at 1:00 P.M. A private burial will be at at the convenience of the family. Memorial contributions may be made to the Lovins Family Cemetery.
