RONNIE LEE ASBURY, age 52, Mt. Olivet, died Friday, May 11, 2012, at his residence. Born in Dayton, Kentucky, November 24, 1959 to the late Vernon, Sr. and Helen June Lipscomb Asbury, he was a farm laborer. Besides his parents, he was preceded in death by two brothers, Jesse Thomas Asbury and Bobby Eugene Asbury and five sisters, Helen Gibson, Donna Kidd, Nancy Asbury, Irene Asbury and Joan Parker.
He is survived by his wife Penny Colemire Asbury; a son, Andrew Asbury, Mt. Olivet; three daughters, Laura Asbury, Rhonda Asbury and Jamie Asbury, all of Mt. Olivet; a brother, Vernon Asbury, Jr., Tennessee; four sisters, Georgia Thatcher, Alexandria, Judy Asbury, Covington, June Asbury, Covington, Gina Menkedick, Mt. Olivet; seven grandchildren, Brittany Menkedick, Kayle Menkedick, Cole Menkedick, Terrance Twitty, Austin Bowman, Brandon Bowman and Gracey Bowman; two special friends, Gary Lee and Mike Bowman and several nieces and nephews.
