Obituary for Ronnie "Pete" Burton
RONNIE "PETE" BURTON, age 62, Mt. Olivet, died Tuesday, April 14, 2009 at the Robertson County Health Care Facility. Born in Robertson County, August 9, 1946 to the late David and Rella Elizabeth White Burton, he was a farmer and a member of Mt. Olivet Methodist Church. Besides his parents he was preceded in death by, a brother Elmer Burton.
He is survived by a brother, Jesse (Gladys) Burton, Germantown; three sisters, Ruth (Frank) Curtis, Germantown, Mary (Vic) Workman, Brooksville and Gladys (Larry) Abrams, Carlisle; a sister-in-law, Kay Burton, Sardis; two aunts, Mattie Jett, Cynthiana and Florence Faulconer, Covington; eleven nieces and nephews and several great nieces and nephews.
Funeral service will be conducted 1:00 P.M. Thursday at Robertson County Funeral Home by Bill Henry. Visitation will from 5:00 until 9:00 P.M. Wednesday at the funeral home. Burial will be in Mt. Olivet Cemetery. Memorial contributions may be made to Hospice of Hope, 909 Kenton Station Drive, Maysville, Kentucky, 41056 or Robertson County Health Care Facility, 1030 Kentontown Road, Mt. Olivet, Kentucky, 41064.
Active pallbearers will be Bob Barnett, Tommy Buck, Sammy Sato, Steve Askins, Kevin Askins and Donnie Jacobs.
Honorary pallbearers will be Joe Jacobs, Ralph Jett, Stevie Jones, John McBride, Kevin Burton, David Workman and Jamie Workman.
