Rosie Lee Wright, age 74, of Mt. Olivet, passed away on Wednesday, June 14, 2023, at Robertson County Healthcare Facility in Mt. Olivet, KY. She was born on January 29, 1949, also in Mt. Olivet, KY, to the late Napoleon and Lily Jane Curtis Fite. Besides her parents, she was preceded in death by her long time companion, Gary Bennett Hitt; three brothers, June Fite, Larry Fite, Jackie Fite; and two sisters, Mary Cracraft, Bertie Fite.
She enjoyed crafting, loved to play bingo, and taking walks.
Rosie is survived by her two daughters, Tracey (Jesse Giles) Wright, Heather (Thomas) Marie Turner; three brothers, Eugene Fite, Glenn Fite, Bobby Fite; her sister, Evelyn (Lanny) Hitt; seven grandchildren, Ashley Weaver, Jessie (Chris) Woodruff, Nicholas (Dee) Giles, Garett Giles, Nevaeh Gross, Bradley Beagle, Skyler Turner; and one great-grandchild, Axel Weaver.
Graveside services will be conducted at 11:00 A.M. on Saturday, June 17, 2023, at Piqua Cemetery. Bro. Roger Conley will preside over the graveside services. Pallbearers will be as follows: Jesse Giles, Thomas Turner, Garett Giles, Nicholas Giles, Bobby Fite, Glenn Fite.
