RUSSELL A. STAGGS, age 66, Robertson County, died Wednesday, February 20, 2013 at his residence with his family by his side. Born March 19, 1946 in Bracken County to the late Benjamin and Pearlie Earls Staggs, he was a self-employed repairman for Farm Bureau and a member of the Milford Christian Church. Rusty was a loving father and husband. He was a hard worker, whether it was on the farm with his cattle or doing carpentry work. Rusty loved to fish, watch birds including all other animals and the occasional western on TV. He will be missed by many and will forever be loved. Now Rusty is walking with the Lord, his family will patiently await for their day to be reunited with him. Besides his parents, he was preceded in death by a brother, Johnny Staggs.

He is survived by his wife, Darlene "Jeannie" Smith Staggs; a daughter, Whitney Staggs, Robertson County; a brother, Alton (Nancy) Staggs, Mt. Olivet; a sister in-law, Ethel Staggs, Germanton and several nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be conducted 2:00 P.M. Saturday at Robertson County Funeral Home by Bro. Michael Cannon with visitation at 11:00 A.M. Burial will be at the convenience of the family.
