Obituary for Ruth Edna White (Whalen)
Ruth Edna White, age 94, passed away Friday, July 1, 2022. She was born in Bourbon County, Kentucky on January 23, 1928, to the late Stanley and Inas Traylor Whalen. She is also preceded in death by her late husband, Robert A. White; two sisters, Ruby McNees, and Ida B. Prebble; and a niece, Patricia Hicks.
Ruth is survived by three nieces, Pamelia (David) Woods, Peggy (Ross) Blackburn, Vickie McNees; and a nephew, Billy (Nicole) McNees. She loved being in, and caring for her home as well as her family farm.
A funeral service will be held on Wednesday, July 6th, at 1:00 PM at Ware Funeral Home. Visitation will begin at 11:00 AM the same day, also at Ware Funeral Home. Burial will follow at Battle Grove Cemetery. Dr. Daryll Smiley will preside over services.
