Sarah L. Cunningham Linville, age 85, of Maysville, passed away on Saturday, June 17, 2023, at her home. She was born on January 3, 1938, in Bracken County, KY, to the late Arch William and Frona Dixon Cunningham. Besides her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband since 1953, Francis Lee Linville; a fiancé of 17 years, John McIntyre; one daughter, Beverly Jean Linville; five brothers, Robert Cunningham, Freddy Cunningham, Archy Cunningham, Arthur David Cunningham, Donnie Cunningham; and a sister, Della Mae Linville.
Sarah is survived by her two sons, Arthur (Edith) Linville of Flemingsburg, James (Betty) L. Linville of Maysville; three daughters, Carrie (Jimmy) Powell of Orangeburg, Janetta (Franklin) Mitchell of Maysville, Brenda (Wayne) Reed of Maysville; a sister Erma Mason of Flemingsburg; thirteen grandchildren, Barbara Mason, Jimmy (Rsula) Powell, Adam Powell, Thomas (Christie) Powell, Phillip (Kelly) Powell, Angela Kennel, Jessica (Junior) Toller, Franklin (Janelle) Mitchell, Damon (Carla) Linville, Sarah Renee (Dewayne) Sloane, Trish (Javier) Linville, Christopher Linville, James (Sarah) Patrick Linville; forty-one great-grandchildren; and seven great-great-grandchildren.
She enjoyed playing bingo, is a lifetime member of the VFW and a proud member of the Eagles, FOE 1564.
Funeral services will be at 1:00 P.M., Wednesday, June 21st, 2023, at Robertson County Funeral Home. Visitation will be held prior to services beginning at 11:00 A.M. Bro. Darrell Marshall and Bro. Randall Jackson will preside over services, and burial will be in the Mount Olivet Cemetery. Pallbearers will be as follows: Jimmy Powell, Damon Linville, Frankie Mitchell, Phillip Powell, Zachary Mason, Adam Powell. Honorary pallbearers will be Jordan Linville, Justin Linville and Daulton Landreth.
