Shelvia Jean Tucker Burden, age 68, Mt. Olivet, died Monday, January 4, 2010, at her residence. Born in Bracken County, August 29, 1941, to the late Everett Browning and Bertha Collins Tucker, she was a homemaker and a member of the Kentontown Christian Church. Besides her parents, she was preceded in death by, three brothers, Dale Tucker, James Tucker and Donald Earl Tucker; a sister, Geneva Breily and a great granddaughter, Haley Doolin.

She is survived by, her husband, James E. Burden; three sons, Larry W. (Angela) Burden, Terry Lee (Tina L.) Burden and James Allen (Amanda R.) Burden, all of Robertson County; two daughters, Debbie (Damon) Earlywine, Cynthiana and Donna Guy, Robertson County; four brothers, Darrell Tucker, Maysville, William B. Frederick, Houston, Texas, Roy Tucker, Bracken county and Eddie L. Tucker, Brooksville; three sisters, Frances Henderson, Mt. Olivet, Marjorie Burton, Germantown and Linda Sue Fegan, Bracken County; eighteen grandchildren and fifteen great grandchildren.

Funeral services will be conducted 1:00 P.M. Wednesday at the Kentontown Christian Church by Bro. Wayne Tolson. Visitation will be from 5:00 until 8:00 P.M. Tuesday at Robertson County Funeral Home and noon Wednesday at the church. Burial will be in Piqua Cemetery. Active pallbearers will be Eddie Tucker, Roy Tucker, Damon Earlywine, Johnny Mattox, Rusty Mullikin, Dustin Sumpter and Les Gifford. Honorary pallbearers will be the grandchildren.
