Sherlene Emily McCarty Couch, 60, of Cynthiana, passed away Thursday, May 12, 2022, at her home. She was born June 5, 1961, to Shirley Faye Pelfrey Stamper and to the late Willie Richard McCarty. She is also preceded in death by one brother, Steven McCarty; one sister, Tammy Wilson.
Besides her mother, Sherlene is survived by her husband, Randy Couch; four sons, Derik Combs, Steven Combs, Jeffery Couch, and Zane Couch; one daughter, Zaryn Couch; one brother, Willie Richard “Ricky” McCarty; four sisters, Wilma Jean Combs, Charlotte Allen, Laurie Ann Roberts, Penny Shelton Bunch; three grandchildren, Liam Combs, Landen Couch, Ilana Couch.
A funeral service will be conducted at 8:00 P.M. Wednesday, May 18, 2022, at Ware Funeral Home with visitation being held from 5:00 P.M. until 8:00 P.M. Officiating the services will be Brother Jeffery Jackson. Burial will be at Winchester Cemetery, Thursday, May 19, 2022, at 11:00 A.M. Pallbearers will be Brian Thomas, Allen Bradford, Nathan Miller, Ashley Byrd, Willie Richard “Ricky” McCarty, and David Lewis. Honorary pallbearer will be Gary Mays. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Shriners Children’s Hospital, 110 Conn Terrace, Lexington, Kentucky, 40508.
