Obituary for Sherri Elaine Brooks (Sanford)
Sherri Elaine Sanford, age 67, passed away Sunday, June 6, 2021 at Bluegrass Hospice Care Center in Lexington, KY. She was born on October 3, 1953 to the late William Oscar Sanford and Dorothy Youngman. Besides her parents she is preceded in death by two brothers, Gerald Sanford and Dale Campbell; one aunt, Lucille Wells; one uncle, Gayle Wells.
She is survived by her husband William Oscar Brooks; one sister, Janice Brandenburg; two sons, Jeffrey (Bethann) Thomas and Billy Moorhead; one grandchild, Hunter Thomas and a special sister-in-law Ann Maybrier.
A funeral service will be conducted Sunday, June 13th at Ware Funeral Home at 2:00 P.M. with visitation beginning at 12:00 P.M. Burial will be at Hamilton Cemetery in Brooksville, Kentucky.
