Stella Elizabeth Giles Martin, 99, passed away, September 1, 2022. She was born in Georgetown, Ky on August 16, 1923 to the late Joe Aubrey and Maud Griggs Giles. Besides her parents she is preceded in death by her husband, Charles William Martin; a brother, William A. Giles; and two sisters, Louise Melvin and Betty Bailey
She is survived by one daughter, Charleen Martin McIlvain; one son, Wyatt Lee Martin; three grandchildren, Mathew Martin McIlvain, Jason Johnson (Megan) McIlvain, Chad William Martin; and four great grandchildren, Charliegh W. Martin, Gray J. McIlvain, Vin R. McIlvain, Elizabeth M. McIlvain.
Funeral services will be held at 1:00 P.M. Friday, September 9th, at Ware Funeral Home, with visitation beginning at 11:00 A.M. Dr. Larry Bishop will officiate the service. Burial will be at Crest Lawn Memorial Gardens, 1879 Lexington Rd., Georgetown, KY 40324.
